Week 20

This week we have been getting back to normal after a busy past two weeks with the Blackout event. I have been continuing with my weekly tasks of social media and blog posts. But this week we had two different vehicles in for us to photoshoot some of our products on. The first vehicle we had was a VW Caddy Maxi, we added multiple products to this van and I shadowed Josh whilst he took some lifestyle imagery. I also took images of all the products on the Caddy and uploaded them to our Instagram story with some polls so I could engage our followers more.  After this shoot, I wrote a blog post on the photoshoot explaining which products we added and the purpose of each product.  The second vehicle we shot was a Mitsubishi L200 pick-up truck, I have never done a pick-up photoshoot so I was looking forward to seeing this vehicle. This photoshoot I actually fitted some of the products myself so I got more of an understanding of our products, I fitted the seat covers and helped...

Week 19- Third Training Week

This week I have been at Escalla for my first week of training in business principles and I have also completed the beginners and advanced Google Analytics courses. So this week at Escalla we have covered: The main components of digital and social media strategies. Different social media platforms including the positives and negatives of each. Business environment and issues related to digital marketing and customer needs.  Digital Etiquette. How digital platforms integrate into the working environment.  I have learnt a lot this week that I can take back to Knetic and integrate into my work. I've had a really good week with everyone at Escalla and really getting on with everyone and Emmas the best!😄✌

Week 18

Image
This week has been our Blackout event for Black Friday weekend and Cyber Monday. We had reductions across both websites Van Demon and Simply Car, for Van Demon we had new promotions running each day. Building up to Black Friday I created a video using Lumen5 to introduce our Blackout event for Van Demon and posted it to our social media pages, here is the video:  Throughout the week I was scheduling in all social media posts, for the posts we wanted to stick to a humorous, sarcastic tone to engage more people as it is more of a unique social media strategy.  We had specialised imagery and banners for the event with set designs to ensure our social posts stand out people's feeds. I was also using the live chat throughout the week to aid customers with the promotions and their purchases. The Blackout event went really well for us and my social posts got great engagement with our followers, I'm looking forward to working on more promotions.
