Week 17

This week at Knetic I have been doing a lot of preparation for our Black Friday Event, I have been scheduling all Facebook, Twitter and Instagram posts for Black Friday. I have really enjoyed doing this because it has been a little different to my normal social media posts, we have chosen to use a sarcastic tone in all our posts to try and engage our audiences. I have also had to use a lot of call to actions and time-pressured language to make our audience feel like they need to buy from us. We have followed a theme throughout all the images for social media and the website and I have also included some gifs and memes to humour our audience so they are engaged.  At the start of the week, I completed all my 4 blogs and social posts for the week. I also created some banners for the homepage of our website and changed all the sliders and images for the week.  Midweek we had a VW T6 in for us to shoot, I helped out with the shoot by helping to put our products together and f...

This week I have been back at Knetic, I began the week by completing my weekly work-load of social posts for Facebook and Twitter and my blog posts. But this week I have started to upload to Van Demon's Instagram now, I will now be uploading 4 posts a week and focusing on building followers and engagement.  I completed my social media report using Google Analytics and sent it out to Emma, Amy and Naomi. I sent the report via email and included all the tables I made along with plans and actions to increase our social media presence and conversion rate. Following this, I will now be creating a social media every month to measure any progress.  I have also started to look into SEO and Google Search Console, I began by going through some presentations on SEO and a beginners guide to Google Search Console. Next week I will be starting to use Google Search Console to help with our SEO, I will be editing headings, category pages and meta descriptions on our website. I'm lookin...

Week 15 - Second Training Week

So this week I had my second training week at Escalla continuing with online and offline marketing. I had a really good week overall with Emma and everyone I'm doing my course with, we all seem to get on really well!  Throughout the week we looked at the following topics: CRM (customer relationship marketing)  Audience Engagement Marketing strategies and campaigns Laws and Regulations in the workplace and as a marketer  Risk Management Cycle Workplace policies Return on Investment We continued with our online and offline   marketing report and ensured all the work we did was mapped to references for the course.  Once we had finished all the content we needed, we started revising for our exam that was on Friday, we all worked together on Kahoot quizzes and q-cards to help us revise. I am a very visual learner so making q-cards and using coloured pens really helps when I am revising.  So, before the exam on Friday, I was really nervous ...

Week 14

Image
This week I have continued with my normal weekly workload of blog posts and social media posts on Facebook and Twitter.  This week we added more products to the company's Transit Custom, this was a perfect opportunity for me to create an Instagram story on Van Demon's Instagram .  I will be trying to build our followers on Instagram and Twitter over the next few months, we need to compete with our competitors by having a bigger social media presence.  This week I have began using Google Analytics, I started by playing around with all the tabs and gaining a better understanding of how it works. By the end of this week I have completed a social media report from Google Analytics, looking at how my social media posts on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter have been doing. I found this really interesting because I have learnt what does and doesn't work and how successful my posts have actually been.  My social media report looked at our organic social. I began by loo...
