Week 9

I am very happy with my place at Knetic and I am enjoying learning more and more about digital marketing and the company as a whole! I am definitely learning more about vans and cars as the weeks go on as my knowledge was very slim!😂 This week I have been continuing with my blog posts, I have wrote 4 this week which will be posted on the 27th. I am enjoying the process of writing the blogs because I feel like I have responsibility to find an appropriate topic and then do the research to go with it, which I find very interesting. Each blog post I write I do a social post to go with it so followers of our Facebook pages can see when a blog post has been uploaded.  I am know completely comfortable making social posts for the Facebook pages and I am enjoying the independence I have with it!😁 This week I promoted a giveaway we were doing with a lifestyle blogger, the competition prize was one of our own products which was the KUBO Tablet back seat organiser. ...

Week 8

This week at Knetic has been amazing, I feel like I am really settled in now and enjoying working with everyone here!  This week I have continued with my blog posts for each website, I have done 4 overall for the week. For Simply Car I made two posts which were: The six best cars for new drivers and Reasons you could fail your MOT   along with social posts to go with them. For Van Demon my posts were, Introducing Wolfrace Eurosport Super-T alloys which was an introduction to a new style of alloys we have listed and VW Caddy Maxi Takeover , this was a post based on a van that we added some of our products to when it came to visit us last Friday.   My main focus this week has been social posts on Facebook, I had a meeting in the week where Emma let me know that I now have complete control of their Facebook pages!😆 This is really exciting for me to have this responsibility so early on in my apprenticeship, so everyday I have to post 3 posts for Van Demon...

Week 7

I can't believe I have been working here for nearly 7 weeks, it has gone so quick! I feel like I have done a lot this week and still very happy with my role in the company. The beginning of the week I did some more social media posts for Facebook as we have to ensure 3 posts are made everyday, I can now work completely independently on Facebook posts which is great because I feel like I have properly achieved something.😄 On Tuesday I was able to shadow Josh who is the Content Editor on a shoot he was doing. The shoot was of a van that belonged to a different company we work closely with, Voyager MPV. He showed me how to do the basics of his camera and what angles were best as we were shooting out side in our yard with the sun shining. The pictures turned out great, I did later then create a Facebook post using his images. I found this really interesting and it has made me consider having a go at photography myself!  Later in the week Emma showed me so...

Week 6

Well this week has been very interesting and rewarding for me! I have focused this week on social media posts, I have even managed to write some of my own Facebook posts which have then been uploaded! I have found this to be really rewarding as I didn't think this early in I would be capable of making my own posts or blogs. At Knetic there are two websites which list all their products, Simply car lists all their car products and Van demon is the same but for Vans. When I first started I was worried that I would struggle to understand the company as my knowledge of vans and cars is very slim, but I believe I have got the hang of it pretty quickly and my knowledge is growing quickly. So when creating Facebook posts I had to take into consideration my audience and stick to the brand guidelines, the language needs to stay to an  Informal chatty tone, simple and relatable. I created about 10-20 Facebook posts which were based on showcasing our products to try and boost sales, I t...

Week 1-5

I have began working at Knetic again now, I was employed here over Christmas but I was working in the customer service department. I am happy to be back with everyone! My first few weeks at Knetic I have mainly been helping the customer services department, working in this department has really helped me build a better understanding of the company and gain certain skills like: Problem-solving  Time management  Communication with customers Using my initiative in time pressured situations Even though I have been working with customer services mainly, I have also spent some time with my mentor who is the content marketing executive. She has gone over what my role will be during my apprenticeship and outlined what I will exactly be doing, I am happy with everything I will be doing and excited to get into it all.  These few weeks I have been shadowing Emma Wilde (my mentor) whilst she creates social media posts, blogs and analyses their performance. I was then ab...
