I have been focusing on making sure all my social and blog posts are seasonal and relevant to the festive period to ensure our followers are engaged.
So I did the following blog posts:

Simply Car:
- Winter Driving Tips
- Christmas Gift Guide
- Christmas Delivery Cut of times

We also decided to run a competition through Van Demon over the Christmas period, we were offering a £50 voucher for the winner and the competition required our followers to send us an image of their van with our products fitted to it. The entry requirements were also they had to be following our Facebook page, tag a friend and like and share our original posts.
We chose these entry requirements as a way to try and increase our following and engagement rate.
I was in complete control of the competition and I got to choose the winner, we didn't get as many entries as we originally thought but it was our first competition in a while and doing a competition over Christmas was hard because people are often preoccupied with their Christmas celebrations.
After the competition, I had to do a report of the competition to analyse how well it worked and evaluate what we could do better next time we run a competition.
I enjoyed being a part of this competition as it was great to engage with our followers. Looking forward to Christmas Now!🎄🎅🎉
It would be great to compare your Christmas posts to your normal day to day ones. You could analyse if the festive posts did better or worse, and why you think that is.
