Induction Week

This week I have spent three days at Escalla for my Induction training. I got to meet all the apprentice's who have started around the similar time to me, some are doing IT apprenticeships but it was also great to meet the apprentices who I will be completing the Digital Marketing apprenticeship with. 
Throughout the three days we have covered different topics like:
  • Radicalisation
  • British Values 
  • Prevent
  • Equality & Diversity
  • Mental health
  • Staying safe on line and who can you trust
  • Health and safety
I found all these topics really interesting and have definitely developed my knowledge on them through courses and the discussions we have all had. 

I have also had chance to think about where I would like to take my career once I have finished my apprenticeship, this has been really helpful to me as it has motivated me more and made me more determined to achieve my goals.

Overall I have really enjoyed this week as I have met some lovely people and been opened up to new opinions on several different issues. I feel like I also do now have a better understanding of what to expect from this apprenticeship and what is expected from me. Looking forward to continuing! 😀

Week 15 - Second Training Week

So this week I had my second training week at Escalla continuing with online and offline marketing. I had a really good week overall with Emma and everyone I'm doing my course with, we all seem to get on really well!  Throughout the week we looked at the following topics: CRM (customer relationship marketing)  Audience Engagement Marketing strategies and campaigns Laws and Regulations in the workplace and as a marketer  Risk Management Cycle Workplace policies Return on Investment We continued with our online and offline   marketing report and ensured all the work we did was mapped to references for the course.  Once we had finished all the content we needed, we started revising for our exam that was on Friday, we all worked together on Kahoot quizzes and q-cards to help us revise. Week 17

This week at Knetic I have been doing a lot of preparation for our Black Friday Event, I have been scheduling all Facebook, Twitter and Instagram posts for Black Friday. I have really enjoyed doing this because it has been a little different to my normal social media posts, we have chosen to use a sarcastic tone in all our posts to try and engage our audiences. I have also had to use a lot of call to actions and time-pressured language to make our audience feel like they need to buy from us. We have followed a theme throughout all the images for social media and the website and I have also included some gifs and memes to humour our audience so they are engaged.  At the start of the week, I completed all my 4 blogs and social posts for the week. Week 21 and 22

For these two weeks, we have all been preparing for Christmas and New Year ensuring everything is done in time before we are off over Christmas! I have been focusing on making sure all my social and blog posts are seasonal and relevant to the festive period to ensure our followers are engaged.  So I did the following blog posts: Van Demon: Christmas Gift Guide Winter Fitting Tips Christmas Delivery Cut off times  New Year, New Van Preparation  Simply Car: Winter Driving Tips Christmas Gift Guide Christmas Delivery Cut of times  New Year, New Car Preparation We also decided to run a competition through Van Demon over the Christmas period, we were offering a £50 voucher for the winner and the competition required our followers to send us an image of their van with our products fitted to it.
