Week 33

This week I attended the Digital City Expo Marketing Show in Manchester, I had a really good day and found it very interesting. I went alone and I enjoyed this as it helped build my confidence and independence and I also liked that I could attend the talks that I specifically wanted to. 

So I attended multiple talks throughout the day which were: 

• How to Prepare for The Future of Customer Engagement.
• The Power of Paid Social.
• The Power of Gamification in Marketing.
• Digital Strategy in an Unpredictable World: How to Tackle Uncertainty.
• Crawl, Walk, Run to your Website Personalisation Success.
• Social Media Trends of 2020.

I found all the talks really interesting and got some great thinking points and ideas from them that I can try and implement at Knetic. The main idea I gained from the event was to involve our followers in games and quizzes through our social media pages as a way to make our brand memorable for our followers. 

I am currently writing a report on my findings and suggestions I have from the event to send out to the relevant people in my company, I will also look at implementing different marketing strategies I learnt from the event.
